We invite everyone to participate in our activities, from beginners to experienced makers. The Mick Bennett Make-It Space is your gateway to exploring new technologies and unleashing creativity in a supportive environment.

Come along to a Maker Lab session to become a member and start making.
Membership is open to anyone aged 14 and over. Parental/Guardian consent is required for members under 18. Please note that some equipment requires an induction before use. Induction sessions will be advertised on the Shire of Dardanup Eventbrite page.
Mick Bennett Make-It Space members and visitors must abide by our Code of Conduct and agree to our Terms of Use.

Innovate and make
Inspired by MakerSpaces, HackerSpaces, and Digital FabLabs, our space welcomes anyone interested in crafting, experimenting, or developing new products in an open, collaborative environment.
Equipped for creativity
Our facility provides accessible, high-quality tools and equipment, designed to lower the barrier for everyone:
Digital fabrication tools: Engage with our 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters.
Electronics and robotics: Explore projects with our introductory kits or more advanced electronic workbench.
Media production: Dive into media projects with our streaming, podcasting, and recording gear.
Textile and design: Bring textile projects to life using our sewing machines, overlocker, and related tools.
General crafting: Use computers, laptops, Cricut, and a variety of tools for diverse creative projects.
Collaborate and co-produce: Combine these tools and the help of others to bring your ideas to life in ways you never imagined.
