YouthFest 2025 is set to be bigger and better than ever for the Shire of Dardnaup, bringing a day of fun, entertainment, and community spirit to Eaton on Saturday, 12 April.
Held during Youth Week WA, this year’s event will take over the Glen Huon Oval and Eaton Skate Park, with additional activities at the Eaton Library and Mick Bennett Make-It Space.
Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner said with this year’s theme "Our Threads, This Place, Your Moment", YouthFest 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.
Cr Gardiner said visitors can look forward to an action-packed festival with a line-up of interactive emergency services, youth market stalls, delicious food trucks, exciting amusements, demonstrations, and much more.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the Shire’s Youth Advisory Group (YAG), who have once again taken the lead in organising the event. Our YAG team is simply outstanding," said Cr Gardiner.
“It’s a credit to them that this event continues to grow each year and offer such fantastic opportunities for young people to showcase their talents and have fun."
YAG claimed the Active Citizenship Award at the Shire’s Australia Day Awards this year, for their mental health initiative, raising funds through a youth op-shop at last year’s YouthFest.
YAG member Tyler Brown was also recognised as the Young Citizen of the Year Award.
"YAG’s passion and dedication to bringing the community together through YouthFest is truly inspiring,” Cr Gardiner said.
YouthFest 2025 is a free community event open to all ages, with no bookings required. Whether you’re a young person looking to connect with your community or a family seeking a fun-filled day out, YouthFest has something for everyone.
