The Shire of Dardanup is inviting residents and not-for-profit organisations to take an active role in shaping the future of the community by submitting proposals for inclusion in the 2025/26 budget.
Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner highlighted the vital role of community engagement in shaping the Shire's future through the budget planning process.
“Community involvement is at the heart of what we do,” Cr Gardiner said.
“This is your chance to share ideas that could help create a brighter and more vibrant future for our Shire.
“Our Council teams are passionate about collaborating with residents and groups to bring great ideas to life, and we’re always eager to hear new perspectives.
“Whether it’s a project to enhance local facilities, improve services, or support community wellbeing, we encourage everyone to participate.”
Submissions for the 2025/26 financial year budget must be lodged by Friday, 14 February 2025. Any submissions received after this deadline will be considered as part of the Shire’s mid-year budget review.
