NOTICE OF PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT OF AN APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL
PROPOSED 35M HIGH TELECOMMUNICATIONS MONOPOLE & ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE
LOT 1215 (246) CLIFTON ROAD, WATERLOO

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Dardanup has received an application for Development Approval for a 35m high monopole telecommunication tower and associated infrastructure at the above address and public comments are invited.
Lot: Lot 1215 (246) Clifton Road, Waterloo
Proposal:
The application seeks for a new monopole and associated infrastructure to be located within the Waterloo locality to enhance the Optus 4G and 5G coverage in the area.
The proposed development comprises of the following:
- One 35m monopole.
- Outdoor equipment cabinet at ground level.
- Ancillary works and equipment associated with access, operation and safety of the facility, including remote radio units, cabling and antenna mounts.
- The facility would be located within a fenced compound. The monopole and associated equipment would be finished in non-reflective pale grey.
Details of the proposal are available to the public at Council Offices – 3 Little Street, Dardanup and 1 Council Drive, Eaton or on the Shire’s website at the following address: https://www.dardanup.wa.gov.au/publicnotices/
Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending on 4.00pm on Tuesday, 11th February 2025. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that day.
Comments on the proposal should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and submitted in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Dardanup, PO Box 7016, EATON WA 6232 or via email to submissions@dardanup.wa.gov.au.
