Summer Sounds is back and touring parks in the Shire of Dardanup this January and February with free concerts throughout Eaton, Burekup and Dardanup.

Shire of Dardanup President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner said the concerts will showcase a lineup of talented local artists with the first Summer Sounds held at Cadell Park in Millbridge on Friday, 19 January.

Cr Gardiner said the concert will be a great night out and feature performances from The Bunbury Rock n Roll Club and The Whiskey Dogs.

“Get ready for an unforgettable musical journey as Summer Sounds hits our parks,” Cr Gardiner said.

“We're showcasing the incredible talent of local artists for an evening of pure entertainment and community spirit.

“Summer Sounds are part of the Shire of Dardanup’s Fuel to Go & Play Summer in Your Park series of free, family-friendly events.

“On Friday, 2 February, Burekup Oval comes alive with Summer Sounds, featuring the lively Livid Lilith (Imogen Pinelli) and The Anchormen. It's the perfect way to keep the festive spirit alive as we dive into the heart of summer.

“Closing the tour with a bang, Carramar Park in Dardanup hosts the final concert on Friday, 9 February. Join us for performances by Easy Tiger, James Hunt, and Scotty Gordon. It's the grand finale you won't want to miss.”

Cr Gardiner said all Summer Sounds events will be held from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and include a range of food trucks offering healthy and delicious food and drink options. Alternatively, attendees are encouraged to bring along a picnic and snacks from home.
