The Shire of Dardanup celebrated a successful Seniors Day at the Eaton Community Library last Wednesday, 13 November.
The Eaton Community Library hosted the free morning tea and Christmas card making workshop to thank Seniors and celebrate the contributions they make to our community year-round.
The event was attended by 41 people from throughout the Shire of Dardanup who came along to create festive Christmas cards and share a delicious morning tea.
The event was held during Seniors Week WA which ran from the 10 – 17 November 2024. This awareness week recognises the important part that older people play in our communities, lives and families.
For any community members who were not able to attend the Eaton Seniors Day Celebration, a second Senior Celebration Day will be held at the Dardanup Hall on Friday, 29 November 10am – 1pm.
The event will feature a delicious morning tea, dance performance from the Dardanup Social Dance Group and film screening of iconic 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and grandchildren along to this free event. For more information visit, Events » Shire of Dardanup.
