UPDATED 17 Jan: Due to a contained fire at the Banksia Road FOGO facility (Bunbury Harvey Regional Council) today, we want to inform you that the Shire will be closing its neighbouring Dardanup Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Centre tomorrow, as advised.

Please note that the Waste Transfer Station is not open on Thursdays.

Advice from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has confirmed the Waste Transfer Station will reopen from 8.30am on Friday, 19 January. 

We want to assure you that today's FOGO collection service was not affected and proceeded as scheduled by our dedicated contractors, Veolia. Importantly, the collection will not be redirected to landfill.
