The Shire of Dardanup’s signature annual event, Tronox Spring Out Festival, is back bigger and better this Sunday, 20 October along the picturesque Eaton Foreshore from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Celebrating with National Children’s Week, this much-loved festival, now in its ninth year, offers a fun-filled, free day for families with amusements, entertainment, market stalls, and food trucks.

The event will feature free amusements for all ages, including:

  • Miniature train rides.
  • Inflatable obstacle course.
  • Climbing wall, go-karts, and dodgeball.
  • Highland cow meet-and-greet.
  • Bouncy castle, soft play area, and sensory zone.
  • Face bling station and craft activities.

Attendees will also enjoy a vibrant entertainment lineup with:

  • Bluey and Bingo meet-and-greet.
  • Eco Faeries roving performers.
  • A didgeridoo performance by Shayne Taylor.
  • Dance showcases from Connie Vidos School of Dance.
  • DJ sets by Dan White and live acoustic music from Clay Mildwaters and Evviva Doddy.

New to this year’s event is a dedicated artisanal market area, providing a unique shopping experience with a variety of handmade goods and treasures.

Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner highlighted the importance of the festival in fostering community connection.

“The Tronox Spring Out Festival has become a cornerstone of community connection, bringing families together for a day of fun and celebration,” Cr Gardiner said.

“We are immensely proud to host such an inclusive, family-friendly event that continues to attract thousands of visitors, not only from the Shire of Dardanup but from across the Greater Bunbury Region.”

This year’s festival goers can win one of two worm farms. To enter, visit the Eaton Community Library display or the Shire’s info stall at the festival and drop your name and phone number into the draw. Now one of the largest free events in the region, the festival’s popularity continues to grow, thanks to its ongoing partnership with Tronox.

Last year’s event saw more than 5,000 attendees, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants.
