The Poppy Project

The Shire of Dardanup is acknowledging Remembrance Day 2023 by creating an art trail of over 3000 vibrant red, white and purple hand-made poppies in Burekup, Dardanup and Eaton.

Witness these visually captivating installments during the remembrance day period from 9th - 12th November, 2023.

We hope that this moving community driven exhibit encourages people of the community to come together and Respect, Reflect and Remember the 61,513 lives that were lost in battle.

Due to the overwhelming support we have received for the project in previous years, we do not require any poppy donations from the community, however they are always welcomed.

Please see the following locations of each installation below:

Burekup: Entrance to Burekup on corner of Russell Road and South Western Highway

Dardanup: 2 Little Street - Dardanup Cenotaph

Eaton: 109 Eaton Drive (In front of Bethany Fields)

Special thanks to Kate Maloney and the Eaton Community Library for your support with community workshops.
