Reasons Not to Worry: How to Be Stoic in Chaotic Times
By Brigid Delaney
I chose this book because I wanted to learn more about Stoic principles in an easy-to-understand way, and it perfectly fits the bill. The author does an excellent job of breaking down ancient philosophies into digestible insights for modern readers. She also provides practical ways to apply these timeless principles to navigate our often-chaotic modern lives.

How to Argue with a Racist: What Our Genes Do (and Don't) Say about Human Difference
By Adam Rutherford
I absolutely love this book! Adam Rutherford is incredibly articulate and intelligent, with a knack for presenting complex ideas in imaginative and engaging ways. His explanations are clear, thought-provoking, and often answer questions I’ve pondered while also helping me come to terms with certain concepts. On top of that, his humour shines through, much like in his podcast Curious Cases of Rutherford and Fry, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment.
