The Shire of Dardanup recently hosted a special Citizenship Ceremony for six new Australian citizens in the Council Chambers last week.

Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner proudly welcomed the new citizens from Ghana, New Zealand, Indonesia, Iran, the United Kingdom, and India, marking the final step in their citizenship journey.

We were honoured to have our local Member for Forrest Nola Marino MP deliver a “special message” from The Hon Tony Burke MP, and local Member for Collie-Preston Jodie Hanns MLA also shared a warm welcome and spoke about her connections to our wonderful local community.

Congratulations to our newest citizens — welcome to the Shire of Dardanup family!
