The Shire of Dardanup’s Emergency Evacuation Centre at the Eaton Recreation Centre is now open for Shire of Harvey residents due to today’s bushfire emergency.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has issued the following warnings today:
A bushfire EMERGENCY WARNING is in place for people bounded by Forrest Highway to the east, Wellesley River to the south, Old Coast Road to the west and Marine Drive to the north in AUSTRALIND in the SHIRE OF HARVEY.
A bushfire WATCH AND ACT is in place for people bounded by Marine Drive to the south, Old Coast Road to the west and Forrest Highway to the east in AUSTRALIND in the SHIRE OF HARVEY.
The Eaton Recreation Centre is located at 18 Recreation Drive, Eaton.
Shire of Harvey residents are advised to keep up to date with their Shire's website and Facebook page.
For updates and further information regarding the bushfire situation, please monitor the DFES website at www.emergency.wa.gov.au for real-time updates and instructions.

Ranger hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Outside of office hours, your call will be diverted to a call centre operator who will pass your contact details to a Duty Ranger if necessary.
Rangers will attend to emergency after-hours matters only.
