We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented professional to develop and deliver best practice compliance methodology in order to meet statutory obligations across in the organisation.

 You will need tertiary qualifications in Law and/or Town Planning or an equivalent qualification in Building or Construction.  Core requirements of this role include a demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and regulations, along with highly developed communication skills.

 

Work Type:                                        Full Time

Remuneration:                                 Level 5/6 $75,920 - $83,016 per annum depending upon qualifications and experience

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the enforcement of the Shire’s development and building compliance obligations.
  • Create an environment of good compliance practice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant approvals and legislation in accordance with the Shire’s policies, procedures and statutory obligations.
  • Work with all stakeholders, internal and external to effectively deliver good governance, quality outcomes and exemplary customer service.
