The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our Place & Community Engagement team.
This position will be responsible for the development and delivery of community events, engagements and place activations within the Shire of Dardanup. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong community engagement experience and a confident and helpful attitude, with availability to work weekends and after-hours at various locations across the Shire when required. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative community-focused team as we continue our journey towards #Vision2050.
Work Type: Full Time
Remuneration: Level 5 from $75,920 to $81,833 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Development, delivery and promotion of community events, place activation and engagements
- Providing advice and assistance to community groups for community organised events and projects
- Identifying and maintaining collaborative relationships with key agencies, organisations and community leaders to develop sustainable partnership
- Facilitating connections between the community and Shire of Dardanup
- Contributing to building vibrant places for people by strengthening community connections and developing a sense of place
- Providing advice and guidance on community development issues within the Shire of Dardanup
