The Shire of Dardanup has permanently marked its 100th township birthday with a unique centenary artwork installation.
Artist Emily Jackson was commissioned to install a commemorative Digi-glass sculptural piece, which takes pride of place in Carramar Park where the 100th Birthday "Dardy Party" Celebrations took place last May.
The beautiful piece includes historical images of the township, stylised linocut prints of local native flora and birds, dry-point etchings of rolling
hills and vineyards and prints of artworks created by community during special workshops with the artist.
