Call for community input into 2024/25 budget submissions

The Shire of Dardanup is calling on community members and not-for-profit organisations to participate in its budget planning process, by submitting proposals for the 2024/25 financial year.

Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner said this is an opportunity for residents and groups to actively contribute to building a brighter future for the community through their ideas.

“We are enthusiastic about community involvement, and this is a great opportunity to hear from our community on what they see as a priority for the Shire,” Cr Gardiner said.

"Helping develop community ideas into reality is something our Council teams are passionate about, and we are always keen to receive new ideas,” Cr Gardiner said.

“We invite residents and community groups to actively participate in the budget planning process by submitting their proposals. Your ideas play a crucial role in shaping the future of our community."

All budget funding submissions must be submitted by no later than Friday, 16 February 2024. Any submissions received after this date will be deferred for consideration in the 2024/25 mid-year budget review.
