The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated individual who can provide a high level of support across the organisation to actively encourage and embed a positive culture of health and safety. You will need to be hard working and resilient, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all employees and contractors comply with Council’s WHS systems and processes by way of site safety inspections and audits.
  • Provide education, advice and support with WHS practices and procedures to develop an organisational culture of safety, health and welfare.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of WHS strategies, programs and processes in conjunction with the Manager Human Resources.

Work Type:                        Part-time 0.6FTE

Salary:                                 Level 5 – from $38.4211 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience*
